R410A 25LB Refrigerant Cylinder
R410A refrigerant for professional servicing of compatible residential air conditioning, commercial air conditioning, and heat pump systems designed for R410A operating requirements. Confirm the equipment nameplate and service documentation before purchasing.
R410A quick specifications
R410A is a high-pressure HFC refrigerant blend commonly used in compatible residential air conditioning, commercial air conditioning, heat pump systems, and cooling equipment.
Use only in systems whose manufacturer documentation identifies R410A as the required refrigerant. R410A must never be mixed with another refrigerant or used as a drop-in substitute without manufacturer approval.
Sealed and clearly identified
The steel service cylinder contains 25 lb / 11.3 kg net weight of R410A refrigerant and is supplied with a sealed valve for professional handling.
- One sealed R410A refrigerant cylinder
- 25 lb / 11.3 kg refrigerant net weight
- Approx. 16.5 inches high and 9.8 inches wide
- Non-refillable professional service cylinder
Where R410A is commonly used
R410A may be used to service compatible air conditioning and heat pump equipment designed for R410A operating pressures. It should only be used when the equipment label identifies R410A as the required refrigerant.
Residential A/C Systems
Home central A/C units and split systems designed for R410A.
Commercial HVAC Systems
Compatible rooftop units, packaged systems and commercial cooling equipment.
Heat Pump Equipment
Heating and cooling systems that specifically require R410A service.
Made for certified technicians
R410A service must be performed by an appropriately certified technician using approved recovery, charging and leak-check procedures.
Follow the cylinder label, current safety data sheet, equipment manufacturer instructions and all applicable federal, state and local requirements.
- Verify R410A on the equipment nameplate before use
- Section 608 certification is required for stationary equipment
- Recover refrigerant—never knowingly vent refrigerant
- Never mix R410A with another refrigerant
Eligible orders ship free via FedEx and are generally processed within 24 hours. Estimated delivery is 2–5 business days within the contiguous United States. R410A Product FAQs
Clear answers about R410A compatibility, EPA certification, shipping, cylinder weight, storage and delivery concerns.
Yes. This R410A refrigerant is supplied in a factory-sealed service cylinder. The original seal should remain intact until the cylinder is opened by a trained technician for approved service use.
Check the equipment nameplate, service manual and manufacturer specifications. Use R410A only when the equipment is specifically identified for R410A and rated for R410A operating pressures.
R410A for stationary air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment is subject to EPA Section 608 sales restrictions. Eligible buyers generally include Section 608-certified technicians, businesses that employ a properly certified technician, and qualified resellers.
Velotrex may request certification, employer authorization or resale documentation before processing an order.
EPA requires Section 608 certification based on the appliance type being serviced. EPA does not issue a separate certification that is only for R410A.
Because R410A operates at higher pressures than some older refrigerants, technicians should also follow manufacturer training, cylinder labeling, safety data sheets and approved service procedures.
Orders are normally processed within one business day. Standard delivery is generally estimated at 2–5 business days after carrier pickup. Weekend and public-holiday orders are processed on the next business day.
Multiple cylinders may ship separately. Delivery estimates can be affected by carrier routing, weather, hazardous-material requirements and address restrictions.
A carrier label may display estimated, preset, dimensional or billing weight. This can differ from the product’s 25 lb / 11.3 kg refrigerant net weight because the cylinder and shipping packaging add weight.
If you have a concern after delivery, keep the cylinder unopened and contact us with your order number and clear photos of the cylinder and shipping label.
Follow the cylinder label and current safety data sheet. Keep the cylinder upright, secured and in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and ignition sources.
R410A is pressurized and can create serious exposure hazards. Handling and system service should be performed by a trained, appropriately certified technician using suitable tools and personal protective equipment. Never intentionally vent refrigerant.
Do not connect, use or attempt to repair a cylinder that appears damaged, punctured or leaking. Keep people away, avoid heat and ignition sources, and contact local emergency services if there is an immediate hazard.
For visible shipping damage, contact Velotrex when safe with your order number and clear photos. If tracking shows delivered but the shipment is missing, check the delivery photo, entrances, garage, front desk, mailroom and nearby properties before contacting us.
